Stanway Villa FC - Child Welfare Officer

In keeping with today's heightening of awareness and concern for the safety of Children who come in to our care as organizers of youth football, Stanway Villa are actively promoting 'Best Practice' for all our Coaching and Responsible Persons/volunteers.

Each Manager or Coach is encouraged to undertake a recognized Youth Football Coaching Course, an Emergency First Aid Course, attend a Child Protection Seminar Course and undergo a Police/CRB Check for clearance through the National Computer Criminal Records System.

We should also remember to keep these matters in perspective with the knowledge that these occurrences are few and far between. But where our children are concerned, we should always air on the side of safety.
