Stanway Villa Celebrates Season in Style at Annual Presentation Day
Stanway Villa hosted their annual Presentation Day on Saturday, 15th June, with a full day of celebration, sunshine, and community spirit. The event was a fantastic way to wrap up the season, bringing together players, coaches, families, and friends to recognise the hard work and achievements of all the teams
With perfect weather throughout the day, the club welcomed attendees to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Players from various age groups received their participation awards and well-earned recognition for their efforts during the 2024–25 season.
Parents brought along food to share, creating a sociable and welcoming setting alongside the mobile bar. The club’s goals were set up on the pitches, giving players the chance to do what they love most — play football — while the adults caught up and celebrated a successful year.
The day also served as a moment to reflect on some of the club’s standout achievements this season. The U15 Reds were recognised for their brilliant Open Cup Final victory, a hard-fought 3-1 win over Little Oakley just days after a heavy league defeat — a true show of character and resilience. Meanwhile, the U14 Yellows were proudly celebrated after being crowned champions of the Colchester and District Youth League A Division, finishing top of one of the most competitive leagues in the area.
